Tilly is a powerhouse with tons of speed, cow sense & grit. Whether in the feedyard, big gathers, or pasture doctoring, she will carry you all day & put you where you need to be! She’s trustworthy to hold a rope, strong to the horn & has been started in the heading with live cattle experience and plenty of dummy work. Athletic, responsive, & quick off your leg, she has the talent to excel as a head horse, barrel horse, or top ranch mare.

Tilly is kind, easy to catch, good with her feet, and has a loving personality. She gets along well with other horses and is generally low in the pecking order. That being said, she is not a beginner type horse as she is very reactive to your leg and has tons of go. Tilly comes from a strong maternal performance line with several Pitzer-bred horses, and her sire is known for producing willing, good-minded ranch horses with size and conformation. She does have a large scar on her right shoulder from her 2-year-old year that has never affected her soundness. Front shoes have been kept on her as her front feet may crack with heavy riding on hard or rocky ground. She is up to date on worming, teeth, and feet.
