Sticker is definitely the “Ol Reliable”, “go catch one to do a job” kind of horse. He has done everything on the ranch from gathering out of the timber, to dragging calves, to doctoring wheat pasture calves and bulls, roping loose donkeys, working the sale barn in the back pens and right into the ring. He will stand his ground, push back, watch a calf making a break from the middle of the herd, and do just about any other job you ask him to do. He also has had quite the arena career. He has gone to the youth rodeos and heeled on, backed in the breakaway box, ran through the flag race and been in the ranch rodeos. However he made a lot of his career as the number one jackpot head horse for us for a while. He’s been all over from Billings to Dodge City to Cheyenne to Amarillo and everywhere in between.
